This event was held in Pleasanton for the 2nd year, in addition to the "Sacramento" ride (actually in Woodland for recent years).  Six members joined us for the Sunday morning ride; Dom Ochoa and his sons Brendan and Alex, John and Bryan Button, and Leonard Lloyd.

Dom, Brendan & Alex Ochoa behind dad's new ZX1400 Brendan and his XT600, Alex and his XT225 John's GS and Bryan's DR650, loaded for the ride from their
home in Paso Robles.

The parade ride went south from Pleasanton Middle School to Sunol Blvd. and Niles Canyon, with full motor officer support.  A steep sharp right turn onto Palomares Road took the parade of motorcyclists through very scenic creekside, heavily forested canyon, twisting up and down as the road climbs to Dublin canyon.  Foothill Road was still Sunday morning quiet, making for a pleasant ride back to Pleasanton where all were introduced to the Stars of the Ride for Kids, recipients of assistance of the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
